Beach Slanica

Beach Slanica, located on the southern coast of Murter Island, is one of the most popular and family-friendly beaches in Dalmatia, Croatia. Known for its sheltered setting and crystal-clear waters, Slanica features a sandy and pebbly seabed with a gentle, shallow sea that extends up to 50 meters from the shore. This makes it especially safe and enjoyable for families with children and less confident swimmers. The average summer water temperature ranges from 24 to 26°C, and the beach holds a Blue Flag certification for cleanliness and sustainability.

Natural shade from trees and the low presence of sea urchins add to the comfort and safety of the beach. Visitors can enjoy scenic views of nearby islands and a relaxed atmosphere, though the beach can become busy during peak season. Amenities include showers, restrooms, changing cabins, and accessible facilities for persons with disabilities. There is a parking area for around 200 vehicles, but arriving early is recommended in summer.

Slanica Beach offers a variety of activities such as pedal boat, kayak, and SUP rentals, as well as jet skiing. Children can take advantage of trampolines, water slides, and a small aqua park, while a seaside promenade invites leisurely walks or bike rides.
