Floating Mill on the Mura

The Floating Mill on the Mura, located near the village of Žabnik in Sveti Martin na Muri, is a distinctive attraction that offers visitors a glimpse into the traditional life and craftsmanship of northern Croatia. This wooden river mill, restored in 2006, features a functioning water wheel and houses an original milling mechanism dating back to 1902. Visitors can observe the mill in action and explore the adjacent Miller’s House, which contains an ethnographic collection dedicated to the milling trade. For a more immersive experience, the attraction offers a short 3D film about the mill’s history, as well as unique features like a labyrinth of love and energy circles.
