Pazin Cave, located in the heart of Pazin, Croatia, is a thrilling destination for adventure seekers and nature enthusiasts alike. This remarkable speleological site offers guided “Speleo Adventure” tours that take visitors deep into the canyon of the Pazinčica riverbed. The underground trail stretches about 200 meters, culminating in a dramatic hall with an underground lake. Here, the adventure continues with two small zip lines that whisk visitors across the lake to a sandbar, adding an extra dose of excitement to the experience.

The tour is designed for participants aged 8 and older and is both fun and educational, with knowledgeable guides sharing insights into the cave’s geology and ecosystem. The entire experience lasts between 2 and 2.5 hours, and visitors are advised to wear sports shoes and bring extra clothing, as the cave maintains a cool temperature of around 15°C year-round.

Pazin Cave is open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with tours departing at 10:00, 13:00, and 15:00 during the peak season (July to September). Advance reservations are required due to limited group sizes (minimum four, maximum fifteen participants). Admission is €35 for adults and €30 for children and students, and all equipment—helmets, lights, and guidance—is provided. With its unique blend of natural beauty and adventure, Pazin Cave is a must-visit for anyone exploring Istria.
