Northern Velebit National Park, located near the village of Krasno in Croatia’s Lika-Senj County, is a haven for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. The park is home to many endemic species, including the rare Velebit degenia, and is a living showcase of Croatia’s natural heritage. To protect this delicate environment, visitors are required to stick to designated trails, ensuring the park’s beauty endures for generations to come.

One of the highlights is Premužić’s Trail, a well-maintained hiking path that offers breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea and the surrounding mountains. The park also features cultural monuments, mountain huts, and historical sites that reflect centuries of human presence in the region. The main entrance at Babić Siča is open daily from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
